Over these three days you'll visit the most beautiful spots for seeing the autumn colours and tasting the local porcini and cheeses. Three destinations paired with three traditional restaurants, with walks suitable for families.
Day by day
Day 1
A stop at Pratobuscante, then up towards the Alpe di Paglio without the cable car: in autumn the road is the most beautiful part. Get there early: the sunset from the Pian delle Betulle deserves to be enjoyed without rushing.
Pian delle Betulle
The ‘last paradise’ of the Alta Valsassina: no cars, two hundred birch trees and a little church by a small lake.

Still in the Valsassina: a stop at the Alva, then the mule track through the red of the beech woods up to the viewpoint.
The Parco del Valentino at the Piani Resinelli
