The Parco del Valentino at the Piani Resinelli, at 1,400 metres, is famous for its panoramic walkway suspended in mid-air. Both the park and the walkway are free and always open.
On the way up, stop for a meal or to pick up some sandwiches at the Alva in Ballabio.
The path starts on Via Escursionisti, near the big Resinelli apartment block: a comfortable mule track through the beech woods, suitable for children and all-terrain pushchairs too. In 25-35 minutes you reach the walkway.
