An unspoilt, wild valley, with a mountain stream of emerald-green, very cold water.
What to bring: a packed lunch, sandals or water shoes, a towel and a swimming costume. If you don’t have the vignette for the Swiss motorways, stick to the ordinary roads.
Just as you enter the valley there’s the dam from the film GoldenEye. A quarter of an hour further on is the Ponte dei Salti: if it’s very crowded, carry on along the river, as the pools and little beaches continue as far as the third bridge.
